Our impact

Mission, vision and approach

Our mission

To facilitate homeownership for Muslims by offering Sharia-compliant financial solutions that are both accessible and ethical, so families can purchase or refinance without riba-bearing transactions.

Our vision

A North America where riba-free financing is the ordinary option: understood by every buyer, supported by every provider, and available in every state and province we serve.

Our approach

The Ijara™ lease-to-own model, structured with licensed providers and reviewed against Islamic guidelines. We structure and educate; we do not lend or broker.

Our values

Faith, plain answers and real ownership guide every contract we write for families and businesses.

Faith first

Our Ijara™ structure is built to stay free of riba and gharar. If a term cannot be reconciled with Islamic guidelines, it does not go in the agreement.

Plain answers

No jargon, no pressure and no rushing. Every question about the contract gets a straight answer before anything is signed.

Real ownership

A declining balance, not an interest rate. Each payment moves a real share of the property to you, and paying ahead carries no penalty.

Community

Mosques, schools and community centers sit alongside homes and business premises in the work we fund.

Frequently asked questions

Have more questions? Don't hesitate to reach us

Our team answers by phone or email during business hours, and a pre-qualification takes about ten minutes.

How is this different from a mortgage?

ijara CDC co-owns the property with you and sells you its share over time. There is no riba, because there is no debt instrument — the agreement transfers ownership, not money at a rate.

What does a monthly payment cover?

Two parts: your use of the share ijara CDC still owns, and the purchase of an additional slice of that share. The second part grows as your ownership grows.

How long does pre-qualification take?

About ten minutes, and it does not affect your credit.

Can I pay off my share early?

Yes. Additional payments buy more of the co-owned share and carry no penalty.

Which states does ijara CDC serve?

More than 20 states across the USA, alongside Canada. Contact us for the current list and the requirements where you live.

Who reviews the contracts?

The Sharia Advisory Board and real estate counsel review the structure and the documents before signing.

What can I finance?

Residential and commercial property, residential and auto conversions, investment opportunities, and the ijaraCDC partner broker program.
